I nominated a section of the main road to Lullymore near my home, on behalf of Allenwood Tidy Towns.
A few weeks ago, I was out checking my “Green Kilometre”, when I spotted a very deep hole appearing in the verge of the road. I reported this to Kildare County Council on August 21st and I am delighted to say that the response was very fast.
In just one week, the roads department came out and repaired a long section of the verge which contained the deep hole. They also repaired some other bad sections near by. Fair play to them for acting so fast.
Other parts of this road appear to be gradually subsiding, but hopefully it’s on their radar now.
