Yesterday was the deadline for the receipt of public submissions in relation to the Planning Application for Allenwood Playground. I wrote and submitted a report on behalf of our playground group.
The primary request from the Allenwood Tidy Towns Playground group was that the playground be designed with inclusiveness in mind. We asked that the playground has some equipment that is suitable for children with disabilities.
In addition we made some recommendations about how the project would be managed in conjunction with our group and the wider community.
