Yesterday I attended my first council meeting, which was the full council AGM. My best wishes to the new mayor, Cllr Suzanne Doyle and the deputy mayor, Cllr. Seamie Moore -Local Community Representative.
I was elected as one of the two council representatives on the Drehid Community Liaison Committee, alongside Cllr. Daragh Fitzpatrick. This committee is very important to many sports clubs and community groups in our area and I look forward to working closely with all those groups over the next 5 years.
