There is plenty of width now on the L5026 road from Hamilton Bridge to Killina National School. The already narrow road was further restricted by the overgrown hedges, causing issues when vehicles were meeting This made the road impossible for children to walk and cycle to and from school.
My thanks to the Clane Maynooth MD office for arranging for the hedges to be cut back. Thanks to local residents for bringing it to my attention. This is just one step in making the roads safer for the school children of Killina.
