One of the topics I am focused on in relation to the waste water system in Allenwood is the problematic Allenwood North section. Progress is slow, but Irish Water are now 100% committed to resolving the system in Bluetown.
The land dispute has been resolved and Irish Water are now able to work on the pumping station. They are currently designing a major upgrade to the entire system in Allenwood North. They assure me that the waste treatment plant in Derrymullen has capacity for another 600 people.
They also confirmed that when the upgrade is complete, not only will the Boyne Waste tankers be gone, but new connections to the system in Allenwood North will be allowed once more. I will keep people up to date with timelines when I get them, but for now the design process is ongoing.
