The application for a wind farm in Drehid has been refused by Kildare County Council. The two reasons for refusal relate to the surrounding road infrastructure.
The L5025, where it was proposed to locate the main site entrance, along with other local roads close to the area, were deemed unsuitable for the traffic that would be associated with the development.
