I walked the route of the future Blueway from Ballyteague to Rathangan last weekend. There is plenty to see along the route including the fascinating Griffith Aqueduct, near Cloncumber.
Martin Heydon TD and I met with Minister Madigan in May last year to stress the benefits that the Blueway would bring to our local area. Deputy Heydon then announced government funding of €5,067,941 for the project at the end of 2019.
