Kildare County Council have refused planning permission for the proposed Cushaling Wind Farm, near Ticknevin and Lullybeg.
The planner’s report mentions issues with the proposed development being too close to a proposed large scale Irish Water project, the lack of suitable road infrastructure for the construction of the wind farm, and the fact that Offaly County Council have not made a decision on the development yet.
