The Area Engineer informs me that it is planned to undertake drainage works on Maher’s Well Road and Malone Way Road in Allenwood South next week.
I raised the issue of flooding on Malone Way Road in the council chamber in March and I hope that these works will permanently resolve the flooding issue there.
For Maher’s Well Road I am told that the drainage is necessary to protect the road at this narrow section.
