I’m glad to see full repairs done to the road and footpath at Ballintine, in time for the new school term. I reported the crumbling road surface and the flooded footpath in March last year.
I appreciate the work of the Clane Maynooth MD roads section in recognising the importance of this link between Kilmeague and Allen NS and funding it accordingly.
Further works are due to take place closer to Allen National School later this year, which will make the pedestrian route even safer for schoolchildren.
