In Moyvally, the Royal Canal Greenway has been under construction for a number of years now. An essential foot and cycle bridge was put in near Furey’s Bar, where previously walkers had to cross the busy regional road.
Minister Martin Heydon informs me that Kildare County Council has been allocated National Transport Authority funding of €3,750,000 towards the completion of the Royal Canal Greenway.
