It is very disappointing to see the recently broken windows in the prefab in Derrinturn Community Garden, after all the work done to secure the area with new fencing.
I wrote yesterday to Superintendent Curley in the Garda District HQ in Leixlip asking for more patrols around St. Conleth’s National School and the Community Garden and he has advised that this will be done and he will be monitoring the issue daily.
I previously spoke with Fr. Fitzpatrick about proceeding with the installation of CCTV and will be working on this in the coming months also.
