It was an honour this evening to invite Minister Heather Humphreys to officially open the first stretch of the Barrow Blueway at Ballyteague. The minister was very impressed by the lovely landscapes we have surrounding the Grand Canal in our area.
The Department of Community and Rural Development have been very supportive of projects like the Blueway and thanks to Minister Martin Heydon for continuing to stress the value these projects bring to rural Kildare and for accompanying the Minister on her tour of the county today.
