Minister Martin Heydon has informed me today that €50,000 of Health Capital Funding has been allocated to renovate the old Kilmeague Health Centre.
The centre will be converted into a day care centre which can be used by the Allen area St. Vincent de Paul who also provide the local meals on wheels service.
Well done to the local SVP team for their efforts to date. It will be great to see them using this premises which has not been used for some time now.
