The new bus stops in Johnstownbridge are now in place and getting good use throughout the day. It made no sense for the 120C bus service to pass through the village without stopping, given the population and services in it.
The BREDA Centre has been campaigning for this for a long time and myself and Cllr. Brendan Weld have been working with them on it for the last few years. I made a submission to the NTA in 2021 requesting new stops here and in Kilshanroe and at Carbury Sweep.
Thanks to the staff of Kildare County Council who liaised with the NTA on this project and other improvements to bus stops and shelters in our area.
