Following a motion by myself, it was agreed at our most recent council meeting to allocate Local Property Tax funding towards a traffic survey on the section of the Slí na Sláinte in Derrinturn, which goes from the GAA to Windmill Cross.
This is the first action to come from the recently published masterplan for the village, and a very important one, as the route is very popular but needs to be safer at this location.
