I asked for the trees in The Downings, Prosperous and Millrace Lawns, Broadford to be assessed a few months ago. Today, I sought updates on both works.
In The Downings, some of the trees are growing at angles and some seem to be dangerously tall. In addition, they do seem to be causing damage to the footpaths in places. It is currently hoped to have works done here by the end of March 2020.
The Poplar trees in Millrace Lawns are losing branches and falling down in relatively light storms, and the council have recognised them as a hazard. It is expected that the dangerous trees will be removed early next year.
