I am delighted to announce that the NTA have agreed to the installation of two bus stops in Johnstownbridge. This is something I wrote to the NTA last December requesting on behalf of myself and Cllr. Brendan Weld. The council are now working with the NTA to select two locations for the bus stops.
It made no sense for the Edenderry – Enfield bus service to pass through Johnstownbridge without stopping. We also asked for stops at Kilshanroe and Carbury Sweep, which we are still pushing for.
