One of the highlights of my year was working with Richie from Carbury GAA, Doreen from Kildare County Council and Saskia and Maureen from Active Retirement Ireland to help establish the new Carbury Active Retirement group.
It would not have been possible at all without the enthusiasm and dedication of Ciara Clancy, who along with Edel and other volunteers, assist the group every Monday and Thursday between 11:00AM and 2:00PM at Carbury GAA Hall.
Anyone who is retired is welcome to drop in and join the group, and more volunteers are always needed if you would like to help out on one of the mornings.
