Hamilton Bridge on the Grand Canal in Killina is looking lovely these days, with the pollinator friendly areas left uncut on the water-side. Thanks to the local residents who mind it so well.
You might see that notices have gone up along the canal about new surveys that are taking place. This is preparation work for the construction of the Grand Canal Greenway which will be a new cycle and walking path along the canal bank through Allenwood, Killina and Ticknevin.
