My family and I attended the official opening of Jack’s Track at Clogherinkoe GFC last weekend. Named in honour of Jack Conlan, who was by all accounts, the ultimate volunteer for his club.
Volunteers are at the heart of rural communities, and this is the second sports club I’ve seen in recent weeks to recognise a life long volunteer in such fashion. Well done to all involved in this project.
The track itself is built to the highest standard with top class lighting all way round. My colleague Martin Heydon TD was on hand to assist with the Sports Capital application as necessary.
