Well done to my cousin, Elaine, who held a very successful coffee morning in Carbury on Saturday morning. She was raising funds to support the great work of Carbury Carers, who she volunteers with. Over €1,000 was raised, which is a very good morning’s work.
A community effort is ongoing to protect Carbury Castle from falling into ruin. Our initial efforts to secure funding have been unsuccessful, but it is important that we don’t give up. Learn more at https://carburycastle.ie
Well done to Catherine and the team in Ashgrove on their very successful coffee morning yesterday in memory of Esther. The total amount raised for The Asthma Society of Ireland was over €800 and Esther would have been very proud. Thanks to everyone who came down to support them and to everyone that helped by baking and…

A reminder that Community First Responder volunteers are needed for the Ticknevin / Killina area, but would be…
Well done to Broadford Area Residents Association on another successful spring clean on the Knockirr Road through Carbury Bog today. Thanks to Paddy for organising everything and fair play to all who helped today and yesterday by litter picking in their own areas.
We have been busy in Ticknevin recently. Minister Martin Heydon paid a visit to the school at the end of last year and I met with residents this week to go through work needed on roads and new and existing signage. We have already made some progress on these issues thanks to the good work…

Thanks to George from Ashgrove Residents Association, and Paul and Jo from Carbury Village Residents Association…
